Solomon; Goetia: The Book of Evil Spirits. De Laurence had many undated reprints of his volumes — and while this copy has the copyright date 1916, the cloth and color of this edition suggests that it was probably one of the earlier printings, perhaps from the
1940s or ’50s, although exactly when it was printed is impossible to
determine. However, this particular edition seems to be quite rare, and we’ve only seen one other copy for sale. Translated from the ancient manuscripts in the British Museum, London.
Ceremonial Magic, Only Authorized Edition Extant, published under the
editorship of L.W. de Laurence, member of the Eastern Order of Sacred
Mysteries. In very good condition: minimal shelf wear; rubbing to spine ends and corner ends; front blank endpaper has been removed; ink notes on one text page and on last blank endpaper. Book measures 8″ x 5.5″.
